A friendly reminder:  Food is love. Food is conversation. Food is fun. Food is pretty. Food is sexy. Food is tradition. Food is tempting. Food is  necessary. Food is what you make of it.

For me, ingredients can get overwhelming and cumbersome. That's why I like to mix up what I eat most days.  My way of eating throughout the day is small, mostly healthy things every 2-3 hours.  That's my preference and it works for me.

Do you have a preference or system that works for you when it comes to food?

Balance is key.  Enjoy your eats!

  1. I aim to eat healthy when I can so that when I want a little treat, it isn't a big deal! Plus, treats taste better (at least in my opinion) when they're reserved for treatin' :) Buttttt now I want a brownie so I may need to walk to Panera to remedy the situation, hehe!

  2. ah that bento box looks amazing! I have been in a flux period of just like not really sure what I should be eating or what kind of lifestyle I want to follow with eating. The last couple of weeks I've been in a total free for all :) I think this weekend I'm going to sit down and start planning out my food to get back on track! Also, I'm totally with you on the balance :)
