Nutella and Apple Pie Pillows

Hello, hello!

I have an amaze-balls treat for ya!

Have you done anything exciting for your Saturday?  It's been cloudy for most of the day, damp and just plain ol' nasty here in Jersey.   Lately, I'm all about sweet stuff.  During this pregnancy I've eaten my fair share of different candies that normally I'd hardly touch, and just a few more donuts and pastry items here and there. I don't feel bad, but that's why I hit the gym here and there and walk a lot.  And also lately, I have this thing in my head where I want to cook and bake A LOT, but there isn't one urge in me to want to go to the store and actually pick up the ingredients.

And so I've been trying to make different things but with items that are already in my fridge and pantry.  It might be smart and cost-effective maybe, but I feel so lazy too.

But then I made these little pillows of heaven...

I don't know about you, but I like my apple slices with many different dips.  Chocolate has always been one of them.  I think by making these yummies, I did something right...right?  I love nutella and I had a huge jar in my pantry.  I had to utilize it.

I love having Pillsbury crescent rolls on hand and I love how creative you can get with them.  These were SO good! Gooey pillows of heaven-licking your finger messy-in your mouth delicious!

I feel like I've been dreaming up some very bad concoctions of sweets lately...but it could be worse. I could be eating an entire can of frosting.

Nutella and Apple Pie Pillows

Ingredients

-1 tube of crescent rolls
-1 can of apple pie filling
-3-4 tbsp. of nutella
-dash cinnamon
-sprinkles of granulated sugar

Method

-Pre-heat oven to 350/ Bake for 12-13 minutes until golden brown.

- Place a dollop of nutella on the crescents and spread.  Place about 2-3 apples on each crescent. Dash each roll with some cinnamon, roll up as neat as possible, and sprinkle the tops with some sugar.

-Serve warm or at room temp.  Both ways are delicious.

I know you're going to love these things!

After we did the gym today, I couldn't wait to get home and devour all of these two of them. These may not be fancy or anything spectacular, but I could not NOT share these!

What do you love with your apple slices?  My favs are peanut butter, chocolate/nutella and caramel.
