Weekend Recap ' ness'

Hey you guys!

I hope your weekend was wonderful!  Mine was fun, crazy, delicious and full of love! We had a family wedding this Saturday and it really was just THE perfect day! I always love catching up with family, but that's rare as we're all busy and most of us live good distances from one another. Weddings are like a one-stop shop of getting to see your entire family and do tons of talking, all while eating and drinking and just being merry!

It's Monday and I am totally wiped from the weekend, but it was such a good time!  Sunday was more relaxing, but we still did enough stuff that day.  When we finally dragged our butts out of bed around 11:30ish that morning, the hubs and I stopped for some grub at Einstein bagel because I was dying for coffee and was craving breakfast-style food. It totally hit the spot! Hence, no photos of our meal. We then stopped over my in laws for a little bit and then to my parents house for Father's Day.  {Our parents live within 20 minutes of us which is great}. Short and brief visits are sometimes just what ya need!  We then took Sammy to get groomed, and since they usually keep him for at least 3-4 hours, we decided to see Man of Steel which was SUCH a good movie!  Go see it now!

We then chilled on our butts the rest of the evening and decided that ordering Taco Bell would be dinner. And oh was it yummy!  We watched our two netflix  movies that we had and since time flies when you have fun, before we knew it it was midnight! I dozed in and out on the couch for about an hour and then headed to bed. Glorious weekend indeed!

Here are a few photos from the celebratory weekend!

My uncle's poodle, Bella.  Such a sweetheart.

It was a fantastic weekend!  Congrats to my cousin Ashley and her new hubby, Ryan!

They are now in Hawaii and I'm not a bit jealous...;)

Sundays are usually my laundry days, but that was so-not-happening yesterday. I did not feel like dealing with machines and probably 3-4 loads of dirty clothes.  So tonight will probably be my laundry night. yay. It's oh-so-glamorous!

A few other things I want to do this week that didn't happen this weekend:

-workout a decent amount { easier said than done}
-I need a major Trader Joe's food run
- cook a little more
-Target run
-weed the front yard a little and trim some bushes/clean it up

I always think I can do a billion and one things even during the workweek, but 95% of the time, the things I'd love to bang out, happen on the weekends instead. That's what weekends are for, I know!  But if you know anything about me, it's that I like each night to be a little different, and most of the time keep busy until I'm ready for bed.  What about you?

Enjoy the rest of your Monday!

Did you do anything exciting this weekend?
