Baby Girl

Happy Friday!!

I'm so excited to tell you guys that we will be expecting a baby girl come February!  I already want it to be the new year!  But then again, not so much.  I feel overwhelmed with registry stuff on the brain, ideas for her room, and of course, the less obvious stuff of becoming a parent and being responsible for this tiny little human.  It's all so Knocked Up. Or something along those lines.

At the end of the day, we're so thrilled!  I do hope she remains a girl. I've heard many stories of how there would be a lovely surprise of " the wrong sex" announced the day of delivery.  But I like to assume that technology is way too advanced now for that shiz.  Also, the ultrasound tech sounded pretty damn certain.  She said something like, "I could tell within two minutes".  Let's hope she's correct. ;)

We've decided to not share the name until she's here. Only hubby and I know and I like it that way.  I don't need 20 more weeks of opinions about something our hearts are set on, thank you very much. So, in a way, there's still a dollop of surprise left with this baby. ;)

I hope you all have a fabulous Friday and weekend!  We are going to Atlantic City tonight to celebrate our 3-year wedding anniversary a few days early. The rest of the weekend is mostly nothing and I plan to cook  a lot on Sunday.  Friends, I have so many damn recipes I want to make but just have not had the time!  They are all lined up, raring to go.  I just hope I have lots of energy on Sunday!  Yummy things definitely coming your way and soon.
